Manage system services settings

You can install, update, and remove system services and automatic updates in the Google Settings.

Install, update, or remove a system service

Install a system service

To download and install a new system service or reinstall a previously removed system services on your device:

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap your profile and then All services.
  3. Under "Privacy & security," tap System services.
  4. Under "Not installed," tap a system service.
  5. Tap Install.
Update a system service

To update a system services on your device:

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap your profile and then All services.
  3. Under "Privacy & security," tap System services.
  4. Under "Available updates," tap a system service.
  5. Tap Update.
Tip: You can find the release note and learn more about what’s included in the latest release under "What’s new."
Remove a system service

To remove updates of a system services on your device:

  1. Open your device’s Settings app.
  2. Tap your profile and then All services.
  3. Under "Privacy & security," tap System services.
  4. Under "Up to date," tap a system service.
  5. Tap Remove updates.
