EFT payment troubleshooter

If you're having EFT payment issues, follow the steps and select the best answers describing your situation.
Did you choose EFT as your payment method?

You need to go through the EFT sign-up process. Watch this video to understand the entire process.

  1. Verify EFT is available in your country.
  2. Confirm your bank account details for the EFT payment
  3. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  4. Click Payments > Payments info.
  5. Click Add payment method.
  6. In the "Add a payment method" section, enter your bank account information.
  7. Click Save.
  8. Next, you need to verify your bank account using a test deposit. Review your bank account statements for your test deposit in the next 2-5 working days.

Have you received a test deposit into your bank account?

Depending on the country in which your bank is located, the deposit will be labeled as one of the following:

  • AFS RE GOOGLE
  • AFS RE GOOGLE ADSENSE
  • ARVATO FINANCE SERVICES LIMITED
  • BFS FINANCE LTD
  • CITIBANK IRELAND FINANCIAL SERVICES
  • Google AdSense Payment
Under Payments, do you see an alert to "Verify this account?"

After you receive your test deposit, verify your bank account:

  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click Payments > Payments info > Manage payment methods.
  3. Click Verify now. In the drop-down menu, select the test deposit amount that you received in your bank statement.
  4. Click Verify. If the amounts match, your bank account is verified. Select this bank account as your desired EFT payment method.

You're now set up to receive your AdSense payments by EFT.

If your bank credits your account quickly, you may receive your test deposit before our system has been updated.

What is the test deposit verification status on your account?

To check the verification status of your bank account:

Click Payments > Payment info > Manage payment methods.

You will notice the test deposit verification status listed next to each bank account for which you have entered the information into your AdSense account.

Have you selected EFT as your form of payment?
Have your finalized earnings crossed the payment threshold?

Your finalized earnings must cross the payment threshold. If your estimated earnings were above the payment threshold but your finalized earnings were not, then you will not receive payment in the current payment cycle.

You can find your payment history on your "Transactions" page. All your payments account transactions are organised by month and by transaction type so you can easily find things like earnings, payments, adjustments and taxes for a billing period.

To view your payment history, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to your AdSense account.
  2. Click Payments > Payments info.
  3. If you have separate payments accounts for AdSense and YouTube, make sure you select the correct payments account.
  4. Click View transactions.
    Your payment history defaults to the detailed transaction view for the last three months.
  5. Click a monthly statement to view the list of transactions for that billing period.
Have you removed all holds from your account?
Do you notice a transaction with the description "Automatic payment"?
Has it been more than 10 days since your payment was issued?
Review your bank statement, is there a deposit listed?

Depending on the country in which your bank is located, the deposit will be labeled as one of the following:
