Reserve and release inventory
This article describes how to reserve or release inventory for guaranteed campaigns in Google Ad Manager proposals.
How to reserve and release inventory in proposals
You can reserve inventory at any time during the negotiation process for guaranteed campaigns. If you don't, Ad Manager automatically creates a corresponding order and line items and reserves inventory when the buyer accepts a proposal.
If the buyer accepted, Ad Manager has already reserved the inventory and you won't find the "Reserve inventory" or "Release inventory" options. Instead, you'll be able to pause line items. Note that pausing line items doesn't release inventory.
You can either reserve inventory for all the proposal line items in your proposal or select individual proposal line items for which you'd like to reserve inventory.
You can also release inventory after Ad Manager reserves inventory for a proposal line item or a set of proposal line items, if necessary.
