I have a Docker setup running automations 24/7 in both Chrome and Firefox browsers. However, for about a week now, Firefox has been failing and showing the error that appears in the image.
Anyone can help?
console.error: services.settings:
main/whats-new-panel Signature failed InvalidSignatureError: Invalid content signature (main/whats-new-panel)
console.error: services.settings:
main/whats-new-panel local data was corrupted
console.warn: services.settings: main/whats-new-panel Signature verified failed. Retry from scratch
console.error: services.settings:
main/whats-new-panel Signature failed again InvalidSignatureError: Invalid content signature (main/whats-new-panel)
console.error: services.settings:
Message: InvalidSignatureError: Invalid content signature (main/whats-new-panel)
Stack:
InvalidSignatureError@resource://services-settings/RemoteSettingsClient.jsm:137:5
_validateCollectionSignature@resource://services-settings/RemoteSettingsClient.jsm:844:13
For some reason, this is only happening in the Firefox browser. I’ve tried recreating the pods to see if that would help, but it didn’t. I’m not very clear on how Docker works. I was handed this project without any prior documentation, so I’m a bit lost.
Thanks!

1Please do not upload images of code/data/errors. Can you edit the question to include the error message in plain text, along with a minimal reproducible example with enough code to reproduce the issue?David Maze– David Maze2025年12月09日 13:19:43 +00:00Commented Dec 9, 2025 at 13:19

It is very hard to guess what the reason could be without knowing what your approach is. Like which code you use to start the Firefox instance.Radinator– Radinator2025年12月09日 13:19:45 +00:00Commented Dec 9, 2025 at 13:19

This is most likely a Firefox issue and not related to Selenium itself, but you should report it at: github.com/SeleniumHQ/docker-selenium/issuesCorey Goldberg– Corey Goldberg2025年12月09日 14:52:35 +00:00Commented Dec 9, 2025 at 14:52

wild guess here: you've got some corrupt files and/or a disk that's going bad. Adding some code to your post might help a bit.... but sounds like a corrupted profile to me. (usually you'd begin with a fresh/temporary profile... so check disk space, run a scandisk, etc...)browsermator– browsermator2025年12月15日 21:14:23 +00:00Commented Dec 15, 2025 at 21:14
