eslint, lsp, and setup error in react project

Question

I have a nvim setup that I have created and when I want to open a react/nextjs project it errors on imports like import Image from "next/image"; and no one likes that, so I wanted to ask how can I fix it.

the error reads:

eslint_d: failed to decode json: Expected value but found invalid token at charecter 1.

It is a new nextjs project, so it probably shouldn't be a configuration mistake.

I have tried changing to the old ways and changing the none-ls configuration to the old way but it didn't work.

• user27392773: I have red it alredy and I don't know what to do with it, because he is opening .js files but I am opening projects... yes I have choosed to use eslint when I ran pnpm create next-app@latest. I have a eslint.config.mjs file
• Jared Smith: So I see this error constantly in misconfigured projects. This isn't a neovim problem necessarily. Typically it's either 1. the version of eslint expects the new flat config introduced in eslint 9 but it's using the old config (or vice versa you've got a new config with an older version of eslint) or 2. the language parser is not set correctly in the eslint config to allow the parsing of non-Javascript files (e.g. Typescript files). Both are fixable by updating your eslint config or your version of eslint as appropriate.
• Jared Smith: On a side note this sort of situation is exactly why semver is a scam and major breaking changes are doing violence to your users. They should have just released eslint2.
• user27392773: I have tried updating to the latest version too then I tried to use the old version none of them solved it and i realy want to use neovim and for web dev it is very good to have these kind of plugins so I am despreate to solve this
