I am analysing the performance of my angular app and when I see the performance monitor in the dev console I see the CPU usage and heap size in the graph (and numbers for these displayed on the left). What I don't understand is the grey part. What is it (see image)?

How to read the graph (with white/yellow/pink) and the CPU usage and heap size numbers here? The CPU usage show 81% but the yellow part in the graph is well below 81%. However the grey section is towards 80% so is that total ?
