I've enable DDL audits on few of our servers. The past two months I've seen a weird behavior on a server where we host our reportserver database.

I'm seeing lots of drop procedures/view followed by create to same objects. Is this normal or something to worry about? Activates being done by the service account running the SQL Server service.

Attached is a sample of the objects being dropped and recreated.

I would suggest seeing the ReportServer database as a "system" database, so you probably don't want/need DDL audits on it. Commented Apr 25, 2025 at 10:59

SSRS has always been a mess, including littering SQL Agent with GUID-named jobs for each of its subscriptions. :( Commented Apr 25, 2025 at 12:37
  • @Thom A Many thanks for your feedback, I will stop the DDL audits on the repserver db. Commented Apr 28, 2025 at 10:28
