I wonder if there is any keyboard shortcut available for the menu bar item Data -> Text to Columns..

I looked into various online resources like the below one, however could not find anything relevant.

https://documentation.libreoffice.org/assets/Uploads/Documentation/en/GS5.2/HTML/GS5215-KeyboardShortcuts.html#:~:text=Opening%20menus%20and%20menu%20items,-Shortcut%20Keys&text=For%20example%2C%20Alt%2BF%20opens,pressing%20the%20underlined%20character%20key.

I am using Mac key board. Any pointer will be very helpful

As described on the LibreOffice help page:

Open a document, it can be empty.

To assign or edit keyboard shortcuts, you open the respective dialog via "Tools" - "Customize..." and select the "Keyboard" tab.

  • In the lower part scroll through "Category" to select "Data".
  • Then scroll through "Function" to select "Text to Columns...".
  • In the upper part in the "Shortcut Keys" list scroll to find an appropriate unused shortcut key. (You can re-assign a used one, but be aware of the consequence that it loses its former assignment.) Select it.
  • Now click "Assign".

You can repeat that for any other shortcut you want to add or edit. Finally click "OK" to close the dialog. That's it.
