ssh hanging

This is to be expected, if you are using CYGWIN=tty. If you use
CYGWIN=tty and running in a console window, cygwin won't allow the
process to exit until the last user of the tty is gone.
Possibly doing this:
nohup ssh-agent > ~/.ssh-agent 2>&1 < /dev/null&
may work better.
