I am using axes3d to draw wireframes with code like this: from numpy import * import pylab as p import matplotlib.axes3d as p3 fig1 = figure(1) ax1 = p3.Axes3D(fig1) ax1.plot_wireframe(x,y,z) When this gets done drawing, I can click and drag with my mouse to rotate the figure. I would like to set the orientation from a script. Is there a method of either fig1 or ax1 to do this? Thanks, Ryan
Thanks for pointing that out, Eric.=0A=0AI try that and it did turn my plot= 90 degree. The bad news is that GSview imports it upside down and if I w= ant to view the plot on the screen, I have to rotate it downside up first. = (Hey, I shouldn't complain. At least I can print without wasting a piece= of paper for each plot).=0A=0ASo, looks like it's true that something MPL = did to the eps file is causing Word to spit out that error page. I wish I = know what it is.=0A=0AThe problem of not finding out is that I need to send= these plots to clients. I don't want to require that they have an .eps vi= ewer in order to see my plots...=0A=0ARegards=0A=0A=0A=0A> -----Original Me= ssage-----=0A> From: Eric Firing [mailto:ef...@ha...] =0A> Sent: Fri= day, February 23, 2007 3:07 PM=0A> To: kc1...@ya...=0A> = Cc: mat...@li...=0A> Subject: Re: [Matplotlib-use= rs] invalidrestore=0A> =0A> =0A> kc1...@ya... wrote:=0A>= > I installed gsview and gscript and tried it.
