Slovak has no articles; there are neither definite nor indefinite articles. But if necessary we can use the demonstrative pronouns //ten//, //tá//, and //to// to function as definite articles. For indefinite articles, we can use the indefinite pronouns //nejaký//, //nejaká//, and //nejaké//.
