Spectral Sensitivity Function

A measure of the sensitivy of an antenna or array to the spatial frequencies on the sky,

where x and y are measured in wavelengths, is the electric field across the aperture, and denotes the complex conjugate Eric Weisstein's World of Math of z. This applies only to an interferometer in which the voltages are summed linearly, and so does not apply to the correlation interferometer.
