Quark Color

A property of quarks. Quarks are described as having "red," "green," or "blue" color. In all particles composed of quarks (hadrons), the quarks are combined in such a way as to yield a colorless overall particle. For example, a meson may consist of red and anti-red quarks, and a baryon may consist of a red, a green, and a blue quark. Color is alway conserved.
