Multi-Frequency Synthesis

A technique in which multiple frequencies are sampled in synthesis imaging. Since this corresponds to varying , and the dimensions of the (u, v) plane scale with , the (u, v) coverage is increased. This method is complicated by the fact that the output of the source is frequency dependent. However, a technique known as double deconvolution can resolve the problem assuming the source's intensity has a power law dependence on frequency.
