Heat Diffusion Equation

The equation governing the diffusion of heat in a conductor. It states


where is the density, is the heat capacity and constant pressure, is the change in temperature over time, Q is the heat added, k is the thermal conductivity, is the temperature gradient, and is the divergence. Eric Weisstein's World of Math
