A unit of liquid volume is the U.S. system of liquid measure and the British Imperial system. In the U.S. system, the fluidounce is often simply called the "ounce," and is equal to 1/16 of a U.S. pint. In the Imperial system, it is equal to 1/20 of an Imperial pint.
