At Rootstack, we are looking for a Sales Engineer with 5+ years of experience in technical presales, solution architecture, or technical account support. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in banking/fintech, deep understanding of microservices, APIs, and cloud-based solutions, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.

- 5+ years of experience in technical presales, sales engineering, or solution consulting
- Strong understanding of software architecture, including microservices, APIs, and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Mandatory experience working with clients in banking/fintech
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly
- Strong presentation skills and experience participating in demos, workshops, and technical validation meetings
- Ability to produce technical proposals, estimations, and architectural documentation
- Degree in Systems Engineering or related field
- English: B2 or higher

- Support the sales cycle by providing technical expertise, product demonstrations, and architectural recommendations
- Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions for banking/fintech clients
- Create and present technical proposals, solution diagrams, and effort estimations
- Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to validate project scope and technical feasibility
- Participate in discovery sessions with clients to understand requirements, risks, and integration needs
- Maintain communication with clients throughout presales to build trust and ensure technical clarity
