[画像: Basx3D - 3D the HTML Way]The initial version of Basx3DTM 3D the HTML Way has been released. This version is pre-alpha and is released to assist in the development of the next release of X3D V4. Basx3DTM is a 3D scene builder using declarative 3D nodes.
This is the first in a series of articles that crosses the line between striaght technology and the social, political, economic, and cultural implications of the wide-spread use of that technology. I will start on the topic of Metaverse. I feel that an important basis of the technology is laid out in Tony Parisi's "The Seven Rules of the Metaverse".
Earlier this year Leonard Daly was awarded a Khronie from The Khronos Group.
Starting with Drupal V8 (aka D8), it is recommended that composer be used for all updates. This is an easier way to keep track of all dependicies and update paths. From my experience it is about the same level of difficulty as using drush was for Drupal V7 when there are no significant dependicies.

This is an effects that renders the scene into left/right eye split-screen.
