MUSIC MINISTRY

"SING TO THE LORD WITH HARP AND SONG, WITH TRUMPET AND HORN."

Psalm 90

WHO WE ARE

The music ministry of Saint Benedict Parish exists first and foremost to glorify God. Our ministry is guided by the teachings of Christ, and the beautiful music and traditions of his Church. Our primary role is in the context of the liturgy through sung prayer. We strive for musical excellence, realizing that beauty can help us experience God in our midst.

WORSHIPING AND GROWING TOGETHER

Our music ministry (and parish) is a warm and supportive group which welcomes people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, gender, religion, orientation, etc. We think you’ll find that being a part of this ministry is musically challenging, but incredibly rewarding. The environment is always supportive and judgment free, and there is a place for everyone.

HOW TO GET STARTED

If you are thinking about getting involved, contact sarkenberg@stbenedict.com or just stop by the music area after Mass. We’d love to meet you.
