From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Berlin is the capital city of Germany and a very international place where a lot of Wikipedia and Wikimedia events take place. Many of those events are multi-lingual and guests from all over the world are very welcome. The headquarters of the German Wikimedia chapter (Wikimedia Deutschland e.V.) is placed at Tempelhofer Ufer 23/24, 10963 Berlin and is hosting many of these events. It is also home of the Wikidata developer team.
