If you want to change the name to "Noctua" I don't think it's possible because the user was last seen on pl.wikipedia 6 years ago, and that's after 5 years of not being seen at all, which shows that the account may still be in use. @Neriah In my opinion, this usurpation (User:Noctua) is not possible because, per standard procedure, accounts with valid edits are not usurped. This account has valid edits, including page creation in NS0, and they upload some files on Commons. So this account shouldn't be usurped. —MdsShakil (talk) 12:56, 9 May 2023 (UTC)

Sadly, it is a global account, but it is only registered on the Spanish Wikipedia, with 1 undeleted edit from 2007, which is minor and isn't even part of the current page anymore, so the username has to be usurped if I were to ever use it.

I would much prefer this username over my own, as I was previously banned for using sock puppets and my current username reminds me and others of my history as a vandal. I have changed my behavior by becoming a recent changes patroller, fighting against the vandalism to which I once contributed, and creating and rewriting articles such as en:Immittance and en:New Hampshire Administration Division; and I would much prefer to now be known as something other than my past mistakes. Preferably, something short and memorable and which sticks in your memory and rolls off the tongue, such as Bong.
