Hello 203.122.215.44. Please note that the Wikimedia Foundation Meta-Wiki is not an encyclopedia, and does not host encyclopedic articles on such subjects as the Wikipedia Review. Please do not recreate that page. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk /map ) 20:03, 14 May 2006 (UTC) Reply
Then transwikify it. It is relevant to all of the wikimedia projects, not just to Wikipedia. But if you feel it should be in Wikipedia instead, put it there. Right now it is censored from Wikipedia. 203.122.215.44 20:04, 14 May 2006 (UTC) Reply
Hello 203.122.215.44. I'm sorry your experience with Wikipedia has been frustrating, but the Meta-Wiki is not an indiscriminate archive for content rejected by other projects. Please discuss the matter on Wikipedia through the dispute resolution process instead. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk /map ) 20:08, 14 May 2006 (UTC) Reply

CSS being redirected to user style

I don't believe that the pages have the same purpose. I might make a special link from CSS to user style though.. I did remember that the user settable CSS features had their own page... I'm trying to make a page as a resource to authors —The preceding unsigned comment was added by AaronPeterson (talkcontribs) 06:13, 23 April 2006.

Comprehensive help can be found at such sites as W3Schools. I don't think the Meta-Wiki is the appropriate place to document CSS itself. // Pathoschild (talk /map ) 07:09, 23 April 2006 (UTC) Reply

The talk page primarily exists to discuss the associated page and collaborate in its improvement. Comments like "poopface mcwilliams is that unequivocal dean" do neither. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk /map ) 14:55, 28 April 2006 (UTC) Reply

Your userspace usurper

While Meta is certainly more of an individual effort for certain pages, it's somewhat irritating to see that position:absolute;top:0;left:0 on User:Pathoschild/templates/user page header. First of all, the CSS doesn't even usurp it cleanly: part of "From Meta" gets cut off. Second of all, the title supplied doesn't match the actual page name, something quite important if you want to navigate back to the page. I humbly request that you remove that bit of CSS. Please? I've added the path, which coincidentally should also fix the visible underlying text. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk /map ) 15:08, 6 May 2006 (UTC) Reply
Neat. I still don't agree with its use in the mainspace, but this is a lot better. Ambush Commander 19:28, 6 May 2006 (UTC) Reply

Please be aware here is meta

Like "Template:Proxyip2", I suppose it is helpful, but I'd like you to realize it ambiguity too. You are better to say ENWP, or enwiki, not just WP. WP can stand for many wikis. Here on meta. Such ambiguity is unhelpful for many editors. I expect you know, on meta, more than half editors are active on other wikipedia than English.

I hope you try to refer to things more precisely in future. --Aphaia 11:45, 11 May 2006 (UTC) Reply

{{proxyip2}} is exclusively intended for the MetaProject on open proxies, which is currently based only on English wikis (with the exception of Meta). There is thus no need to disambiguate between languages; if you are willing to open a new chapter on a non-English wiki, the template will be amended to disambiguate languages. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk /map ) 17:05, 11 May 2006 (UTC) Reply

Congratulations! You are now a Meta administrator. Please read the Meta:Deletion policy before deleting anything. You can find admin tasks within the Meta-Wiki organisation category and on Meta:Requests for help from a sysop or bureaucrat. Angela 16:11, 25 April 2006 (UTC) Reply

{{CURRENTTIME}} to CET

What variable should I use for getting CURRENTTIME in Central European Time? Thanx. Gubbubu 19:41, 25 April 2006 (UTC) Reply

There is no variable to do so, as far as I know. You could do so by using ParserFunctions, but that would be awkward template coding; why do you want to do that? // [admin] Pathoschild (talk /map ) 19:55, 25 April 2006 (UTC) Reply
That's needed for other time-zones?! (削除) {{#expr:{{CURRENTHOUR}}+2}}:{{CURRENTMINUTE}} (CET) (削除ここまで) -- Olliminatore 18:44, 10 May 2006 (UTC) Reply
There are now ParserFunction templates on Wikipedia which displays the current hour and minute. These don't exist on the Meta-Wiki, or likely on any other wiki. If that method is to be used, the appropriate templates and those they depend on will need to be ported. // [admin] Pathoschild (talk /map ) 20:22, 10 May 2006 (UTC) Reply
Oh yes, I see now, (my calculation was wrong too, if 24) they it already gives complete date Templates (which I think are extreme resource hungry for the server). -- Olliminatore 12:37, 12 May 2006 (UTC) Reply
