About me

FRː Je suis Ourytima, bibliothécaire de profession, sortie de l’école de bibliothécaires, archivistes et documentalistes (EBAD) de l’Université Cheikh-Anta-Diop, au Sénégal. Je suis conservatrice de Bibliothèque à la BU de l'Université Amadou Mahtar Mbow. Je suis membre de l'association sénégalaise de bibliothécaires, archivistes et documentalistes (ASBAD) et de l’Association internationale francophone des bibliothécaires et Documentalistes (AIFBD). Je suis une bibliothécaire engagée qui lutte pour l'accès à l'information et au plaidoyer pour la valorisation des bibliothèques. EN Hello world ! I am Ourytima, a librarian who graduated from the School of Librarians, Archivists and Documentalists (EBAD) of the University Cheikh-Anta-Diop (UCAD), in Senegal. I work at the library of Université Amadou Mahtar Mbow in Dakar. I am a member of the Senegalese Association of Librarians, Archivists and Documentalists (ASBAD) and the International Francophone Association of Librarians and Documentalists (AIFBD). I am a passionate librarian who fights for access to information and advocacy for the valorisation of libraries.

My work

FR J'ai commencé à contribuer sur Wikipédia depuis mai 2020 dans le cadre de la campagne #1Lib1Ref, un bibliothécaire, une référence. Cette campagne a été une occasion pour moi de contribuer sur Wikipédia et sur ses projets frères et d’être en contact avec différentes communautés wikimedienne. Grâce à cela, j'ai pu participer à nouveau au projet 1Lib1Ref en 2021 et en 2022, en tant qu'organisatrice pays, au Sénégal avec ma collègue AdjoEsse. Je participe aussi depuis 2022 dans d'autres projets :

  • Wiki Wake Up Afrique Sénégal[1] .
  • Wiki Loves Africa
  • Wiki Loves Earth
  • She Said
  • Wikimedia Oto
  • Moi de la Francophonie

Et tant d'autres... Vive la collaboration Bibliothèque et Wikimedia pour l'enrichissement des savoirs. Je suis contente d'intégrer ce mouvement super collaborative !!!

EN I started contributing to Wikipedia in May 2020 as part of The Wikipedia Library/1Lib1Ref campaign (one librarian, one reference) with a training proposed by IFLA (International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions). This campaign was an opportunity for me to contribute to Wikipedia and its sisters projects and to be interactive as a Wikimedian. I was able to participate again in the #1Lib1ref project with Aflia (African Library and Information Associations and Institutions)in 2021 as a trainee and in 2022, this time as a country organizer, in Senegal with my colleague AdjoEsse.

And so many others... Long live to the collaboration between the Library and Wikimedia project for the enrichment of knowledge. I'm proud to be part of this super-collaborative movement!
