Mano River Union Wikimedians Community
Promoting Free Knowledge in the MRU Region
The MUR Wikimedian Community is a group of Wikimedians from the anglophone Mano River region, encompassing Liberia and Sierra Leone. This community is dedicated to promoting free knowledge, supporting Wikimedia projects, and fostering collaboration among contributors in the region.
Formed as a collaborative effort between the West Africa ICT Action Network (WAICTAN) and Open Knowledge Ghana, the MUR Wikimedian Community aims to advance the principles of open knowledge, encourage participation in Wikimedia projects, and build a vibrant community of knowledge sharers in the Mano River region.
