Dear batoul84,
Thank you very much for taking the time to submit an application for this Rapid Fund cycle. We welcome your efforts and your dedication to expanding content with the focus on Palestinian-related content gaps. Please see our comments and recommendations below and respond to them on this page by Friday, May 10:
- Safety and security of student participants. You note in your application that you will be meeting with university students twice a month in-person to conduct workshops. Given the current political situation in Palestine, may you share how you are ensuring the safety and security of these students in partnership with the universities that you are collaborating with?
- Question on compensation of trainer. May you also share what reference you are using for 700USD as a compensation for the trainer of your project?
- Projector accessibility. We noticed that you plan on purchasing a projector for your project. We would like to ensure that this projector is easily accessible for all Wikimedians in your location as this is the collective ownership of your Wikimedia community. May you kindly share how you will plan to make the projector accessible for Wikimedians in your location?
- Budget template. Thank you for putting together your budget. However, may you please use this template? May you also ensure to add every budget item and detail, including units and quantity of each budget item? For example, separating the food and refreshments items from the transportation costs?
- Learning questions. Thank you for including learning questions for your project. We would also recommend that you include the following questions: Following the project, have you correctly identified the content gap that needs to be addressed? To what extent have you addressed this content gap? How have the students responded to your project, were they engaged throughout? Have they managed to achieve their outcomes? If not, why?
Once again, thank you for your contributions to the movement and we look forward to receiving your responses. FElgueretly-WMF (talk) 15:22, 3 May 2024 (UTC) Reply
