Global sysops/Requests

Global sysop requests
This page is monitored by global sysops and stewards for simple requests for deletion or blocking on wikis that allow global sysops. It is an alternative option available to using IRC to make a quick request. Please do not use this page for controversial requests; this is intended to be a venue for quick cleanup of GS-wikis. Formal or controversial requests can be filed at Steward requests/Miscellaneous.
A bot automatically updates a list of all speedy deletion requests – global sysops can review it at Global sysops/Speedy delete requests.
Global sysops: Please clear page contents after processing requests.
Requests

- Deleted a bunch of pages in the talk namespace, which somebody apparently mistook for their personal sandbox. ~~~~

- Hello, I known well that there are many administrators on French Wikipedia, but my whole IP range is blocked here for one year because of a single vandal. I can't even create an account from another IP since I haven't any. I tried many times to explain the problem to them but I failed each time, they don't want to understand. I don't know what to do. - Did you try to create your account on other wiki? Someone else (not hanging on that banned internet provider) creates an account with a temporary password, sends the credentials to you, and you change the password and register your email address. - Unfortunately, Global sysops can't do anything on the French Wikipedia. You'll have to follow local processes to get this problem out of the way. You could send an email to info-fr@wikimedia.org, providing your IP & the block you're running into. They will direct you to the correct place to appeal the block.
