Hola Matiia. Lamentablemente, a partir del 2 de diciembre (o quizás unos días antes) voy a estar ausente hasta el 21 de diciembre (si todo sale bien) debido a unos problemas personales con mi vida privada. Lo que me preocupa es que, durante mi ausencia, no quisiera que venga otro usuario a usurpar mi nick en IRC, y supuestamente se ponga a hacer vandalismo o flood en los canales. Yo poseo un cloak llamado "wikimedia/Ks-M9" pues hace un mes MemoServ me avisó que tengo el cloak. No sé si, por más que tenga el cloak, otros usuarios (obviamente vándalos) quieran hacer un intento de usurpación, y no quisiera que pase eso mientras esté ausente. Por eso quiero asegurarme si el cloak sirve para evitar la usurpación de cuenta. @Ks-M9: hola. Se podría decir que sí, si la gente ve que alguien con tu nick no está con tu cloak, podría suponer que no eres tú, aunque esto no es infalible. Por lo que puedo ver, no has activado el enforce, así que yo te recomendaría poner /msg nickserv set enforce on, de esa forma, si alguien usa tu nick, el sistema le pedirá que ponga la contraseña de tu cuenta IRC, y si no la pone en 30 segundos, el sistema le cambiará el nick a Guestxxxxx (las x son números aleatorios). Hello Matiia! Could you delete Wiki.png in six Wikipedias, which have less than 200 files and where Wiki.png shows up at "Special:UnusedFiles": gv, hif, sd, se, so, udm? Hello Matiia! Wiki.png seems to confuse users, including admins, e.g. changing file at li:Plaetje:Wiki.png - maybe the admin expected to have the logo on top left change. Could you delete Wiki.png in these 15 Wikipedia-projects, they all have 9 or less unused local files, less than 999 files total and Wiki.png is unused, so no dependencies to solve: nah, hsb, fiu-vro, pnb, tk, os, fur, tg, ug, nap, pam, map-bms, cv, sco, dv. 78.51.217.136 18:03, 7 December 2016 (UTC) Reply

Thank you very much. Sad, that 11 of the 15 could not be done. Hopefully local admins will help. There are two more special cases where your help would be appreciated 1) zea - Nahid had deleted it, then zeawiki was a zero-file-Wikipedia for 3.5 months. Then Holder undeleted it. He seems to be confused about the file, no reply at [1]. Would be nice if you delete it like Nahid did. It is annoyingly showing up at Special:UnusedFiles and blocks the whole project from being considered a zero-file-project. 2) Another special case is gu, which has upload completely disabled (InitialiseSettings.php#L1243). Wiki.png not showing as unused, because it is included in some outdated "protection log". If you can only do one, then zea is more important. Thank you very much. 202 out of 295 Wikipedias have the local file removed. Of the remaining 93, 50 are active GS-wikis, 1 closed GS-Wiki and 42 active opt-out. Deleting zea and gv was a nice motivation. From the 7 dec set of 15 files, where you did delete 4, now local admins have deleted further 7 files, leaving pnb, fur, sco, dv from that set. Further GS-wikis that have the file and are below 999 local files: so, yo (sowiki: no response from only admin [2]). One special case: ang:file:Wikip.png - with "p", that is also a duplicate. It has not been resolved yet by Jimbo (see Talk Page), but we have here fundamental violations and disrespect of the Wiki Terms of Use. Racial offences, brutal insults and mockery about Macedonia and Macedonians, plus harassment, death treats, violations of basic procedures, and all these blatant stuff, that were actually protected by local admins.! Really there is an urgent need to remove admin. privileges to Edgar Allan Poe, block the creator of Janevistan, and remove that harassment site from Wikipedia. He was reporting a valid problem with the title blacklist, then you left a fully irrelevant off-topic comment, where you called him unfit to make any comments or suggestion about Wikipedia and a uncivil person due to your personal conflict with him. If you did read what he said in the links I provided, you would have known that this is not just about a personal conflict. This guy is an admin and he explained to me some policies which he applies in the Arabic Wiki. One of his policies is that he allows himself to call you names. Will you allow me to call him names on this site? I do not think that this is acceptable, but he actually does it on the Arabic Wikipedia. He has been asked many times to comment and explain things that he said, but he refuses to respond. He told me that he did not need to talk to me at all because he is too good to talk to "someone like me." He told me that he could do whatever he wanted and I should not talk back to him.

How is it a personal conflict that an admin refuses to explain in English some nasty policies which he explained formerly in Arabic? I am not disputing with him over personal issues.--HD86 (talk) 01:44, 21 December 2016 (UTC) Reply

@Cumbril: Hola, claro, solo tengo unas pocas dudas. ¿Estás seguro que Sule está traducido correctamente? el traductor me dice que es cerca (por ejemplo, ese árbol está cerca de esa casa), no cerrar (por ejeplo, él tiene que cerrar la puerta) ¿o igual que en inglés, significa ambas cosas? la otra duda es si vaikeresümeed, robotimuudatustena y Kohandatud resümee están escritos correctamente, el traductor me dice que las 2 primeras llevan un espacio y una búsqueda en google, solo me muestra 2 resultados para las primeras 2 palabras y 3 para la última. @Cumbril: Nah, era solo que eso me pareció un poco raro y quería estar completamente seguro. Sé que el traductor no es realmente bueno, y si dudara de tu palabra, entonces habría hecho algo como preguntarle a otro usuario nativo si todo lo que me dices es correcto, en lugar de preguntarte a ti mismo, sobre algo que me pareció raro. Todo hecho ahora, solo he cambiado la posición de 'hoo-closeButtonText' : 'Sule', para que siga el mismo orden que las demás traducciones, ya que si alguien la quiere traducir a su idioma y toma el ejemplo de la traducción en estonio, quede igual a la demás. Oh, ya veo. En estonio se puede añadir palabras una al otro libremente como en alemán (se llaman las palabras compuestas). Entonces 'vaikeresümeed' (vaike + resümeed) y 'robotimuudatustena' (roboti + muudatustena). Además, estas palabras estan en su forma conjugada. Por eso no pudiste encontrarlas en la busqueda google.

Some weeks ago we requested a global banner on the Central Notice. We haven't had an answer. We know that many campaigns are going on during these coming months.It is not a problem if we have to change the dates if needed. TRhe banner refers to a initiative launched by Iberocoop. The editing contest "The woman you never meet" had great results the last 2 years in the LatinAmerican region and now we want the initiative to become global. The discussion about the rules of the contest is already happening in its meta page and many different chapters and user groups are getting interested by the proposal. As we want to reach as many Wikipedians as possible, we believe a global banner would help us. You can find our request here.

Hay un error en la fecha de las elecciones a Stewards como por ejemplo Stewards/Elections 2017/Statements/Ramesh S.Bohara donde dice que no firmó el acuerdo de confidencialidad pero las elecciones comienzan el 8 de febrero y no el 1 de febrero. ¿Sabes tú como arreglar eso?. El candidato tiene tiempo para firmar el acuerdo hasta el 8, pues la página principal indica que las elecciones empiezan el 8 de febrero. Hi Matiia! I found these different titles with R/round, so I had a look at main sections and categories, uppercase Round. But now I recognized, that there are many different spelling in the last few years. It looks like, that they use Round in main section and categories only, all other pages should be lowercase (I don't understand why, but ...). Is it possible to rollback my requests? I will post here a list of these pages, so you must not search these entries. Please ping me, if possible. @Samuele2002: those pages have subpages where you could test the code (Www.wikiversity.org template/temp/sandbox, Www.wikinews.org template/temp/sandbox and Www.wiktionary.org template/temp/sandbox, you'd need to click preview html on the top of them, where the edit and history buttons are), however, they don't seem to work anymore (the script doesn't work for me, not sure if it does for other users). If they don't work for you either, you could use the console of your browser and testing the HTML code from there, it'll be a bit harder to test though. If you click preview html on the top of the pages you linked, you may see how they look (the script works for me with the pages you linked). Hello, we have been waiting for sysop removal of access for Xoser of Zazaki Wikipedia since almost two week. We stated that Zazaki Wikipedia is so small and a third sysop is needless and so there is a consensus about remove Xoser's sysop access. When will we receive answer? And Xoser had automatically been desysopped due to the rule of 2 years of inactivity. As Melos says Xoser met the AAR inactivity criteria. But a steward made him sysop again, only for his demand. This is unfair. (this is all our conversation)

If so, all members can demand this from stewards. When we started local discussion on Zazaki Wikipedia, he came out after 3 years of inactivity. He did nothing for Zazaki Wikipedia for 3 years. @Vuzorg: Xoser wasn't desysopped due to the rule of 2 years of inactivity, it was due to a local discussion (here you can find Xoser's admin rights removal request), but as the most of those voters were Erdemaslancan's socks (3 of them), it was considered as invalid and the user rights was restored. Your local request on diqwiki is open since 15 April, which is the same day as you request to us to remove Xoser's admin rights. You shouldn't request to us to remove someone's user rights the same day that the voting got opened, it should be open for some time, so it makes sense that you request hasn't been handled yet. It is even still open, and once it get closed, some users will probably need to be checkusered, as it seems some users are using socks. I currently see no consensus to remove Xoser's admin rights, but this can, of course, change once socks votes are invalided. Btw, I'd recommend to read AAR policy to know how it works. 1. First desysop discussion had opened because of his AAR and there was a statement on local discussion stated that he was not active for 3 years (2014-2017). Please look at here Melos says you have to become active again because you meet the AAR inactivity criteria. This person (Xoser) met AAR inactivitiy criteria. But he demanded and Melos assigned him as sysop again. Is this really reasonable to assign a person as sysop again after 3 years of inactivity?
2. On the other hand, as I explained, if you check all against votes on local discussion, I'am explaining acitivity periods Xoser (2014-2017), Neribij (2014-2017), Kirmanciye (2014-2017), Azadi (2014-2017), Asmen34 (2017 a new account, probably sock puppet), Gomada (sysop of Kurdish wikipedia who interferenes Zazaki Wikipedia's own problem). All of these accounts was active on 2014 and now again came out to vote, is this just a similaritiy? Obviously these accounts came out for only vote.

Asmen is a sysop of Zazaki Wikipedia since almost 2006. Why does he need use a sock puppet? On the other hand, Gomada is sysop of another, apart wikipedia, he is sysop of Kurdish Wikipedia. I do not understand why he interferes Zazaki Wikipedia's own problem? Maybe because of that he shares same political (anti-Armenian, anti-Turkish, anti-Zaza and pro-Kurdist) and religious (Islamist) views with Xoser? Is this moral that Gomada meddle Zazaki Wikipedia's own problem from another wikipedia? If I meddle English wikipedia's or another wikipedia's own problem, would it be fair?

I think that (I'm sure of that) Xoser called people Neribij, Kirmanciye, Azadi, Asmen34 and from another wikipedia Gomada to get support. Even these account's activities and contributions are not permanent, year by year. Is this fair consider their votes valid? Hola. Veo que por un tiempo corto bloqueaste globalmente esta IP que le pertenece al abusador de las banderas, Szm. Con esta IP se mantuvo más activo todavía durante el 2017 y un poco el año pasado. Su última edición con esta dirección fue hoy en las wikis en japonés y en portugués. ¿Podrías considerar volver a bloquear esta IP? Si bien en la página hay una nota que dice The links at the top are only going to appear if there is at least one rollback link on the page, no estoy muy seguro de qué significa eso. @Esteban16: Hola. Si en la página en la que estás, hay un enlace para revertir una edición, en la esquina superior derecha te aparecerá un botón que dice smart rollback, que al presionarlo, te aparecerá el cuadro de esta imagen (prueba por ejemplo en esta página). La herramienta funcionará solo si tienes la capacidad de revertir una edición (siendo un administrador, reversor o tener algún permiso global que incluya dicho permiso). Soy un Wikipedista que colabora activamente con el mantenimiento de Wikipedia y sufro una discapacidad grave que este año se ha agravado exponencialmente y me gustaría saber si existe un departamento en Wikimedia relacionado con la discapacidad, por consejo de mis cercanos y de mi psicólogo me recomendaron que hiciese realidad alguna vieja aspìración o algo que me llenase y me ayudase a intentar llevar un poco mejor la situación, cómo sería el hecho de ser Bibliotecario en Wikipedia, cosa que me resulta imposible dado que no llevo un año en ella, aunque colaboré con otros ordenadores cómo IP, y aunque llevase un año, no ganaría la votación dada la desconfianza de la Comunidad. --MONUMENTA (talk) 15:00, 16 November 2017 (UTC) Reply

@Taichi: buenas, yo también espero que estés bien :). Veo que el usuario ha sido bloqueado en commonswiki recientemente, después de una solicitud de Chico512. En estos momentos, lo mejor es manejarlo localmente. Si en el futuro el usuario sigue buscando problemas en más wikis (unos 2 o 3 wikis más) con estos problemas, lo mejor sería iniciar una solicitud de comentarios para banearle globalmente, pero en estos momentos, es algo que debe ser manejado localmente.
