Hey why did you deleted my article?????— The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mehdihasan1125 (talk)
- Hi. Because it is off-topic material for this wiki, Meta. This is not a wiki for articles. Check out Wikipedia instead. -- Tegel (Talk) 18:21, 2 May 2015 (UTC) Reply
- Tegel, especially if a user is new and poorly informed, as appears in this case, en.Wikiversity is a better place to suggest, it is far more inclusive and will support a user learning how to create articles. (We have even supported children, one user was 7 and what he was writing looked like nonsense or vandalism. He is now a WMF sysop, so it works.) The user will often be guided to do the work in their own user space, with move to mainspace later if the page becomes usable as an educational resource. Creating articles on Wikipedia without knowing the myriads of rules to be followed can be highly frustrating. Thanks. --Abd (talk) 15:51, 3 May 2015 (UTC) Reply
- Hi. You are free to recommend the user another alternative. Since the user account was created on en.wiki, and that it's the biggest and most well known wiki, it's easy to assume that it was there the user wanted to contribute. -- Tegel (Talk) 12:21, 4 May 2015 (UTC) Reply

Photo-vandalism
Hi Tegel! Could you, please, help here: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Domace_govedo.jpg This is an obvious vandalism, because the title of the photo means "domestic cattle" (!?) Thanks, Maestro Ivanković (talk) 15:01, 18 May 2015 (UTC) Reply
- Hi. I'm not an admin on Commons, so I can't delete the image. I have marked the image for a speedy deletion, so a local admin will take care of it shortly. I have locked the account that uploaded the images as a vandalism-only account. -- Tegel (Talk) 15:07, 18 May 2015 (UTC) Reply

Blocked from id.wikipedia without reason

Global CSS/JS migration
Hello Tegel. You have global scripts in User:Tegel/global.js , which you import using your local JS pages. Since August 2014, your global.js and global.css pages are loaded automatically on all wikis. Although you requested cleanup via GlobalCssJs, there are still several pages left like da:User:Tegel/common.js . Do you want me to fix this by removing the imports from your local pages using Synchbot (without changing any other content)? —Pathoschild 02:18, 07 July 2015 (UTC)

User:68.106.15.33
Hi, I just wanted to point 68.106.15.33 out to you - it appears to be the same person as 70.162.224.240 (currently blocked), 68.106.15.33, etc, who you've been repeatedly blocking for a while now. They have the same ISP, same location and same style of editing.
I hope this is an acceptable place to bring this up. Let me know if somewhere else would be better. :) - Nikki (talk) 05:14, 16 July 2015 (UTC) Reply
- On a related note, 101.176.133.6's block expired and they're doing exactly the same thing as they were before. - Nikki (talk) 07:33, 16 July 2015 (UTC) Reply
- It looks like 68.106.15.33 is now 24.251.27.201. - Nikki (talk) 13:58, 18 July 2015 (UTC) Reply
- Hi. I'm on vacation at the moment with limited internet access. If you think that there is enough for a global block you can place a request at Steward requests/Global and someone will take care of it. -- Tegel (Talk) 14:03, 18 July 2015 (UTC) Reply
Erasing File:LRC Logo gold.jpg
Hi Tegel, yesterday I uploaded this file to use it in wikipedia. It's a development of another but now old logo which is uploaded on mediawiki too (File:Worldsymbol.gif) Please explain the deletion while worldsymbol.gif is in use. An information before erasing files would be a friendly way. Thank you Andro x
- The file was uploaded to www.mediawiki.org, the wiki used to document the Mediawiki software. Images uploaded there can only be used on that wiki. If you are using Commonist to upload images, check the settings so it upload images to Wikimedia Commons. It has happen in the past that when users upgrade the software it changes the settings to upload images on www.mediawiki.org. -- Tegel (Talk) 12:18, 9 August 2015 (UTC) Reply
OK, thank you - the dividing line between the projects is not so easy to recognize. Andro x (talk) 21:33, 9 August 2015 (UTC) Reply

Hello, you explain to me why you blocked me the opportunity to edit the Wikipedia namely plwiki ??? Or I do not know if it was you because once I edit and later , I received information about the blockade. TharonXX (talk) 14:42, 16 August 2015 (UTC) Reply
- Hi. The block has nothing to do with you. The reason for the block is to stop a long time vandal from vandalising. It's related to this: Global block of Orange ranges (2015)/pl/Global block of Orange ranges (2015)/en. The user switched to your ISP so we had to place a short block for that ISP as well. I have modified the block so you can login with your account. -- Tegel (Talk) 14:48, 16 August 2015 (UTC) Reply

This is a message from the Wikimedia Foundation. Translations are available.
As you may know, the Wikimedia Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new "Access to nonpublic information policy" on 25 April 2014 after a community consultation. The former policy has remained in place until the new policy could be implemented. That implementation work is now being done, and we are beginning the transition to the new policy.
An important part of that transition is helping volunteers like you sign the required confidentiality agreement. All Wikimedia volunteers with access to nonpublic information are required to sign this new agreement, and we have prepared some documentation to help you do so.
The Wikimedia Foundation is requiring that anyone with access to nonpublic information sign the new confidentiality agreement by 15 December 2015 (OTRS users have until 22 December 2015) to retain their access. You are receiving this email because you have access to nonpublic information and are required to sign the confidentiality agreement under the new policy.
Signing the confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information is conducted and tracked using Legalpad on Phabricator. The general confidentiality agreement is now ready, and the OTRS agreement will be ready after 22 September 2015. We have prepared a guide on Meta-Wiki to help you create your Phabricator account and sign the new agreement: Confidentiality agreement for nonpublic information/How to sign
If you have any questions or experience any problems while signing the new agreement, please visit this talk page or email me (gvarnum(_AT_)wikimedia.org). Again, please sign this confidentiality agreement by 15 December 2015 (OTRS users have until 22 December 2015) to retain your access to nonpublic information. If you do not wish to retain this access, please let me know and we will forward your request to the appropriate individuals.
Thank you,
Gregory Varnum (User:GVarnum-WMF), Wikimedia Foundation

Deletion of my talk page
In regards to your reason for doing this, I understand. You banned the editor who edited on my talk page. I just want you to know that I received an email notification about this with the exact wording of the post. And if it is pertinent to anything, that post was in response to a CFD I submitted at the English Wikipedia article Philip Anthony Roberts. So, that editor is still active on English Wikipedia, at least. Maile66 (talk) 15:37, 4 October 2015 (UTC) Reply
