Wikidata ist ein in Entwicklung befindliches Open Source Projekt. Die initiale Entwicklung wird von einem Team von Angestellten bei Wikimedia Deutschland in Berlin geführt. Um externe Teilnahme an der Entwicklung zu ermöglichen dokumentieren diese Seiten den aktuellen Entwicklungsstand. Wir folgen dem scrum System weil dieses einen Visuellen Statusreport über die Vorgänge im Projekt ermöglicht.
Alle Diskussionen und Entscheidungen sollten sich an Requirements orientieren.
