New partnerships - CEM

Wikimedia Brazil has signed a new partnership for 2025 with the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM) at Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Coordinated by economist and journalist Edney Cielici Dias, the center conducts research in social sciences, such as public policies, inequality and urban issues. The partnership with WMB will enable digital, media and information literacy for CEM members, in addition to improving content on Wiki about topics related to the center's research.

Wikiversity Workshop - Observatory of Latin American Women Intellectuals

On February 20, Wikimedia Brazil held a workshop so members of the "Observatory of Latin American Women Intellectuals" project (at Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro - UERJ) could learn about Wikiversity.

The research group focuses on analyzing the presence of female intellectuals from Latin America on different digital platforms. The workshop sought to encourage undergraduate and graduate students in literature at UERJ to use the platform and promote open science.
