The 1Lib1Ref campaign is a global initiative aimed at improving Wikipedia's reliability and credibility by adding citations from quality sources. This proposal seeks to implement the campaign in Hausa Community, engaging librarians, information professionals, and graduates in enhancing Wikipedia's coverage of Hausa-related topics.
The 1Lib1Ref campaign in the Hausa community aims to bring about the following changes:
1. Improved information literacy among librarians, graduates and the general public.
2. Enhanced accuracy and trustworthiness of Wikipedia articles related to Hausa language and culture.
3. Increased collaboration between libraries, educational institutions and Wikimedia communities.
