He is a Senior Scientist (Plant Physiology) working at ICAR Research Complex for Eastern Region Research Centre, Ranchi a constituent establishment of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). After earning his PhD (Plant Physiology) from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, he had joined Agricultural Research Service of ICAR in January 2004. Currently he is also acting as convener of Open Access India.
