Important: LoopBack 2.x does not support Node.js version 7 or Node.js version 8.
Although in theory, you could code a LoopBack application from scratch, installing LoopBack tools makes it much easier to get started. They will scaffold an application that you can then customize to suit your needs. For more information, see Command-line tools.
If you’re new to LoopBack, use LoopBack 3.x instead and install the LoopBack CLI tool.
You can also use these tools with LoopBack 2.x:
