Lupy [1] est un portage de Jakarta Lucene [2] en Python. Il lit et écrit les indexs au format de Lucene. Pour les comparaisons de vitesse, la Faq [3] dit: Which is faster, Java or Python? I haven't really benchmarked the Lupy vs. Lucene, however cursory wallclock timings show Lucene is 5 to 10 times faster. Over time, if perfomance is an issue, portions of Lupy can be coded in C and dropped into a Python extension. PSYCO may also work well with Lupy.
