About this book series

This books series concerns the quickly expanding field of epigenetics. It evokes novel research questions and how these are linked to human health. Each of its volumes covers a particular topic that is important to clinical practice and research, and to researchers in epigenetics who study the relevant medical issues of today. The individual books of the series complement each other and underline the importance of epigenetics in health-related disciplines such as toxicology, reproduction, psychiatry, and nutritional and environmental medicine.

Epigenetics and Human Health was founded in 2011. Prof. Dr. Robert Feil, PD Dr. Mario Noyer-Weidner and Prof. Dr. Jörn Walter were the founding editors and were responsible as series editors for volumes 1-10 until 2016. In 2023, the series was relaunched together with Prof. Rasime Kalkan and Dr. Luis M. Vaschetto, who are the current series editors.
