In late September 2025, TikTokers began using the clip of 6ix9ine in memes in which they created AI avatars of sports stars like Messi and Paul George talking about how they "stole" certain sporting wins. Other memes showed 6ix9ine projected into memes using Capcut's green-screen feature.

Origin

On September 21st, 2025, YouTuber^[1] DJVlad posted part seven of his interview with rap artist Tekashi 6ix9ine, titled, "I Stole Gummo Beat from Trippie Redd, Let Me Show You How He'd Rap On It." The video showed 6ix9ine dressed in a yellow soccer jersey and with short purple hair, talking about how he took Pi'erre Bourne's production, originally meant for Trippie Redd, to make his hit track Gummo. The video gathered over 299,000 views in 10 days.

The VladTV clip of 6ix9ine saying, "I stole that shit," was shared to TikTok^[2] by @darkkcloudsz on September 22nd, where it gathered over 270,000 plays and 14,000 likes in nine days.
