About
Elite Ball Knowledge refers to a catchphrase and slang expression used in many sports (such as basketball, football, volleyball, etc.) that describes the best players with advanced ball handling skills in their given sport. The term initially went viral on X / Twitter and TikTok in early December 2024 after American actor Timothée Chalamet joined the desk of ESPN's College GameDay to comment on the SEC college football title game between Texas and Georgia. After that, the catchphrase gained a general interpretation on TikTok in March 2025, often used to compliment someone for being smart, well-versed in a specific subject, especially in dating or flirting tactics.
