Exporting video
Starting in MuseScore Studio 4.7, it’s now possible to export scores as videos that include notation synchronized to audio playback.
To enable video export in MuseScore Studio, you must first install FFmpeg .
To export a video of the current score:
Go to File -> Export...
In the Format dropdown, choose MP4 video.
MuseScore tries to locate FFmpeg’s software libraries automatically. If it can’t find them, the dialog shows options to download FFmpeg or locate it manually, and the Export button is disabled.
If you just installed FFmpeg and it’s not detected, restart MuseScore and go to File -> Export again. You should only have to locate FFmpeg manually if you installed it via a non-recommended method.
Once a suitable FFmpeg version is found, you should see actual video settings, including the sample rate and bit depth for its audio track.
By default, videos use the same layout you see in MuseScore’s Page view, but the option Reflow to fit video resolution uses a new layout optimized for the video’s horizontal aspect ratio.
