Is there a way to translate main names?

Trying to figure out if there is a way to translate the names and description in the "Add new" wizard.

This is not possible with the current features of H5P. There is however some updates in coming few weeks/months on the H5P HUB and it may include this.

You can get/provide translations via weblate

You can provide translations for all H5P modules via weblate.
If you translate also the LUMI Education and LUMI homepage, LUMI users will get all H5P titles and descriptions fully translated for the languages that have been translated with weblate.

I have found that translating H5P modules with weblate is easier and less error-prone than making pull requests from GitHub.

You can register as a translator in https://translate-h5p.tk/weblate/projects/

You can check how well this works by downloading the LUMI app (Windows, Mac or Linux) at https://lumi.education/ if you choose, for example, the Spanish language (that I translated).

Site seems to be not working

https://hosted.weblate.org/ gives me a "Server Error".
Has anyone else seen this error?
Is there any other way BESIDES GitHub to continue translating H5P strings into other languages?

Hi!

I assume you are referring to the names and descriptions that appear in the H5P Hub. Those are served from the server on h5p.org in English only. There's no official way to override those. This would require changes to the respective H5P integration (aka plugin) that you are using or some custom plugin that does this for you - similar to how it is done in Lumi.

Any way to receive a confirmation message to register ? I try to register to contribute , romanian language, i try the same to "contact server administrator" result is "server error"
