Hi there,

What is the purpose of "tags" in the course presentation set up? I remember reading somewhere that it works with the LMS, could you please elaborate or correct me :)

Thanks in advance?

Hi Brigitte!Are you talking

Hi Brigitte!

Are you talking about the "tags" field below the H5P content? That's part of Drupal, which is used as the host system for h5p.org and could potentially be used to organize content there. It is not part of H5P.

Best,
Oliver

Hi Brigitte!

Sorry. I cannot tell you why this field would only appear on some pages, but it does not belong to H5P.

Oliver

Hi Brigette,I'm not sure

Hi Brigette,

I'm not sure exactly what the purpose of the tag is but I've used it to somehow organize my contents. The most frequent tag I use is "Test Content BV52" and "Sample Content BV52". This way I can click on the tag and it shows me those contents I've tagged them with, this helps in sifting through hundreds of contents I've created so far.

Thanks BV52,

Is the only way to "search" for items of a particular tag, to go to my "contents," open an item I know has a particular tag (eg. "accordion") and select that tag to locate the other items with that same tag?

Thanks again, your work is much apprecited.

Right now, big data is collecting a lot of really dumb stuff for really dumb reasons. How much better would it be for the innovation economy if we had footfall fields of carefully encrypted qubits evaluating and servicing an agnostic "swamp" of tags and categories tied to a global network of learning projects?

Next gen social, that's what that is.

Hi Kiosa!

I think there was an attempt to establish something like what you have in mind in Germany. It's called edutags and tried to make any content on the web "taggable" and retrievable. Unfortunately it's in German only (and that may be one reason why it doesn't seem to be very popular).

Best,
Oliver

It's true: English is the new Latin. But a growing body of research indicates that people who are comfortable with more than one language are faster and more agile problem solvers and Bilingualism has also been shown to delay the onset of Alzheimer's by 5 years.
