Not for grades option in Moodle

Submitted by mgoodine on Tue, 12/19/2017 - 01:06

Some content types will be intended as resources or simple self-check exercises. It would be great if there was a way to specifiy "no grade" and have those items excluded from the grade book. Currently all content types show up in the grade book which will make things quite messy if the activities are not really for marks.

Thanks for the great work.

Suggestions for action on this?

Is there any way to find out if this is on the radar? I think having so many unnecessary things in the grade book will be a big deterrent for many of our instructors.

Thanks for any suggestions

Hi mgoodine,We’re now working

Hi mgoodine,

We’re now working on something called the H5P supporter program allowing the H5P community to vote for and fund the top voted H5P features. Also there are developers in the community who every now and then works on a feature they find interesting or useful.

Any update on the supporter program?

Would really like to see some progress on excluding H5P activities from the gradebook when they don't require a grade. This is a show stopper for us as most of our faculty would be using H5P activities for formative assessment and self-check exercises. Thanks

Hi mgoodine,

I'm sorry no updates yet on the supporter program. But we'll make sure to let the community know when it is released.
