Hello Western Canadian Drupalers, I've recently moved back to western Canada after a 15 year absence.

I'm looking to drum up some activity in the west and to grow my network (currently I've spoken to one Drupalista in Alberta) and eventually do recruiting and offer on the job training.

Version 1.0.x has been updated as of Aug 04, 2021 with this version having the CKeditor Inspector Tools combined with the ability to create and edit your own plugins. The latest CKeditor 5 now requires the presence of a minimum of Drupal 9.2.

CKEditor 5 is to be released and become the core WYSIWYG editor for Drupal 10. It is currently available as a Contrib module for Drupal 9.2.0 and 9.3.x-dev. CKEditor 4 will continue to be the default WYSIWYG editor for Drupal 8 and 9. Custom and Contrib modules using CKEditor 4 will continue to function using the special adaptations to date using CKEditor 4. ie.) Font Family and Size module for Drupal 8 & 9 (not to be confused with Font size and Family) since the latter is available from drupal.org whereas "Font Family and Size" was developed for the future users of DWIT.

I have just relocated to Winnipeg and its seems at this time connecting with others is best facilitated with Zoom. Since I'm now using Drupal 9 for building stuff, I have created some Drupal 9 Zoom modules which will facilitate this. As a member of the Winnipeg Drupal Community is this something that would be of interest to you or are you waiting for an event to occur in Minneapolis?

It's been a while since there's been any activity on this group. I know there are a number of local sites being built using Drupal so I'm hoping to revive the discussions here and possibly have occasional meetups. Community is an important aspect of any open source software and I'd like to see an active, local community for Drupal even if it's a small group to start.

Twin Cities Drupal Camp is a four-day conference, held annually in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. Every Drupal Camp features keynote speakers, sessions, code sprints, great parties, and lots of networking.

We're very excited about this year's DrupalCamp. We have a record number of sessions submissions, some really excellent keynote speakers, and the best DrupalCamp parties in the country. Before camp the University of MN is hosting a weeklong Accessibility testing of Drupal 8 and we have Accessibility, Twig, Media and Core sprints happening after the camp.

The Twin Cities Drupal Camp will be held Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21 in Minneapolis MN. Camp kicks off with a day of classes on Thursday, followed by two days of workshops, and closes with a sprint on Sunday.
