Design 4 Drupal, Boston 2020 will take place from June 10th - June 12th on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Join us for our 12th year as we explore the latest in Drupal design, UX and front end technologies. We are offering the conference midweek again this year. We will kick off on Wednesday with a Training and Contribution day. Thursday and Friday are full session days, each with an exciting keynote.

Work from where you are for clients connecting people with the natural world and fighting for justice. The Web Developer will theme and configure Drupal 8 sites. The Project Manager will lead two to five-person teams to build websites, design publications, conduct campaigns, and produce videos. The 5th Annual New England Drupal Camp, sponsored by Oomph, will be on November 16 & 17 at Rhode Island College in Providence, RI.

Thursday Keynote: Dries Buytaert - "Exploring the New Drupal Front-end with JavaScript"

Dries Buytaert, founder and project lead of Drupal, will give an update on the evolving role and exciting future of JavaScript in Drupal. He’ll discuss the merits of API-first vs. API-only approaches, give behind-the-scenes insights into the JavaScript modernization initiative, and tell the story of the past, present and future of JavaScript across the stack.

If your Drupal firm carries liability insurance and can provide an entry-level person for level I tech support / training 7:00 am – 4:00 pm, I can train that person, be the lead on the project, and co-contract whatever pieces you have staff for.

For the fourth year in a row the Boston Drupal Group will be participating in the Drupal Global Sprint Weekend. Join us on January 27th and 28th (9am - 5pm each day), as we collaborate with the global Drupal community to work on core Drupal issues.

Everyone is welcome- you can choose to help with coding, theming, UI, UX, testing, documentation, ... We will split into groups and work on Drupal issues. Make sure to bring your laptop.

Ethan Marcotte, the creator of Responsive Web Design, will speak on the industry shift from "pages" to "patterns"—designing small, reusable little interface components—and how digital practices can adapt to that change by integrating pattern libraries into their company culture.

We're back at the MIT Stata Center the weekend of June 23-25 for more exploration of the latest in Drupal design and development.
