The group audience field lists all organic groups. I need it to be two separate fields, one listing the public groups and one the private. For the private, I need to have it filter down to only groups the current user is a part of, and if they aren't in any private groups, then I need to hide that. Can any one share a clue on how to do this?

like everybody here, I'm working on the "next big thing" :) ... probably it will never go online, it's just for my diploma.

Anyway, the site is supposed to be a networking site for students studying abroad. Signing up, I have to choose a city (where I will go to). As a member, I have access to this public "city area" (let's say "everybody's Barcelona"), where people can share their knowledge etc. And there's got to be a private area (like "my very own Barcelona"), where every user can have his own blog, calendar, gallery, ...

I'd like to be able to submit a post, have members vote on it, and then if the score is high enough, it gets published publicly. Is that possible? Perhaps if I posted a private group post, it could be changed to public with og_audience?. Should I be looking at the action module instead?

Banner.module isn't really guilty here. There are a lot more modules that do not work with private file access.
