Posted by webbywe on April 7, 2014 at 11:40am

In March, OC Drupal had the pleasure of having Kala from the local non-profit "From Goals To Wells" present her website as we all attempted to navigate through it trying to solve the problems at hand; albeit without success due to site.

This month, tentatively scheduled for Sat, April 19th 9a to 3p, we are going to go further in helping FGW achieve their goals by hacking through a website from the ground up.

Need advice on upgrade options

Posted by justinbras on February 21, 2013 at 9:03pm

Hi!
We need to upgrade from Drupal 5 (launched in 2009) and since we have never done this before I would appreciate any advice or guidance on what I believe our options are.
Option 1) Just do a straight across the board upgrade.
Option 2) Do an upgrade and make enhancements that we have identified as an organization and include our enhancements in the RFP.
Option 3) Hire a developer to do a 2-3 week intense modernization of website proposal. Cost is a concern with this option.

Evaluating for Overnight Website Challenge: Twin Cities 2013

Posted by cosmicdreams on January 19, 2013 at 4:51pm

Hi everybody, I've been looking into RedHen's progress and there is a lot to like. I love the entity-based approach.

I'm putting together a team of 10 Developers to compete during this year's Overnight Website Challenge in the Twin Cities: http://tc2013.overnightwebsitechallenge.com . We'll have 24 hours to make a website for a local area nonprofit and we're looking to leverage the power of RedHen + Drupal to accomplish that.

Currently, we're in the pre-event planning phase and we're running into some confusion on how to fully use Redhen to our advantage.

New "Drupal for Good" Site -- Goalraiser

Posted by samcohen on September 10, 2012 at 7:56pm

Hi all,

I want to share a new site I developed (using Drupal of course)

It's called Goalraiser and it allows anyone to turn a personal goal into a fundraiser for a cause they care about. (I'm losing 20 pounds to raise money for kids with cancer).

We already have a few campaigns -- someone is going to publish their manuscript, another make 500 calls to get Obama re-elected.

You can start your own campaign if you like. It's free and 100% of money raised goes to the cause.
