Field collection

Hi i am working on a social media site about movies and got a few questions.

I have two content types named "Movies" and "Actors" (have picture and name fields).

In Movies i have a field collection has two fields; name and character. This name field is a node referance to Actors content type. And for movie page i create a view block for cast list.

In this way i can link actors and movies..
What i want is actors pictures. When a actor name add this list automaticaly add her/his picture too.. How can i do this, probably it has a simple solution but i stuct this..

I am trying to import a CSV file using the Feeds Module. I get it to work when there are no Taxonomy or Field Collection attached to the Content Type.

One problem is I do not understand where to get in the Field Collection Processor information for the "Field/property name of Host entity GUID" settings to fill in the text box.

If anyone can advise it would be most appreciated as I've been stuck on this for over 48 hours.

I can pull fields and their associated data into a View from two content types using a 'node reference' field type and specifying a 'relationship' within the View but for some reason I cannot appear to do this when the 'node reference field' is contained within a Field Collection. In this instance all it will do is bring back the field titles but without the data.

So to be clear, I have the following:

• a 'Client Information' content type (ct);
• a 'Job' ct;

Right now I'm re-writing the theme implementation for the Field Collection module. Totally stuck on rendering a very simple render array as a child of the field collection field -- it attaches fine and renders everywhere else I stick it, no problem. But it won't render there.

I have a suspicion it has something to do with theme_field, which the parent render array is rendered by. Tested my array as a child in an array rendered by theme_entity, and that worked fine.

I am trying to create a rule that will modify the permissions (ACL) of the node containing the field collection based on a user reference field in the field collection entity..

By the looks of it I have to use "field-collection-item:host-entity:" but in the data selector is doesn't have any further options to pick up the node id or anything for the host entity..

I am sure I am probably missing something simple but can't see it..

I a using D7
I am using date module to collect start date and end date feature
I am using field collection module to have multiple "durations"
1. I have a "field collection" field which is unlimited values filed, containing "start date" and "end date" using date field
i wanted to achieve the following.
a) Start date>end date- should give error (validation already existing in date module)
b)Start date= end date -should give error (is not available in fact if we leave end date the start date is automatically copied)
