notifications messaging mimemail

Hi,

I am having problems getting my html newlsetters configured and working. I am using Drupal 6 and have installed both simplenews and mime mail modules. However, there isnt an official release of the mime mail module for version 6 yet. Instead it is a development snapshot. Could it be that, that is causing the problem?

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Based on some ideas and requests generated during the Mail, Notifications & Messaging Framework session at Drupalcon Boston I decided to attempt a quick-and-simple plugin module for messaging which would make Allie Micka's most excellent MimeMail functionality available as delivery method for the Notifications & Messaging frameworks.
