Skinr Libraries - Do they exist?

Posted by jfarry on November 21, 2012 at 3:03am

Hi guys :) I've just watched a couple of Skinr screencasts, checked out the Skinr.org website and the Skinr Project page but I haven't been able to find anything like the Skinr Libraries that I've heard mention of in the screencasts. More specifically, Jacine mentioned a few times that she'd like to have a repository on d.o for people to upload skins that they have created, like the 960 grid she used in one of her screencasts.

What is the status of Skinr for Drupal 7?

Posted by doubleedgedpen on September 23, 2011 at 8:39am

We've all heard great things about Fusion and Skinr. I've been visiting the project pages every few weeks for almost a year now eagerly waiting for a Drupal 7.x release.

http://fusiondrupalthemes.com/faq#t61n150 said we could expect Fusion and Skinr to be ready for Drupal 7 in December 2010. However http://drupal.org/project/skinr says that Skinr 7.x "is not stable, functional, or supported right now... so we strongly advise that it only be used for testing purposes at this point."

It appears that no changes have been made since July.

Skin Catagories

Posted by StringTheory on October 8, 2010 at 1:11pm

I am really excited about the skin set feature in skinr 2.0 and and wondering how everyone is thinking they will use it.

With skinr 1.5 I tended to create 2 types of skins:

  • My everyday set - These were common elements I used all the time, such as rounded corners, menu styles, typographical changes, etc...

    Redigering av varukorg - Ubercart

    Posted by flor3n on September 7, 2010 at 2:43pm

    Hejsan!

Get a Skinr 2 / Fusion theme sandbox

Posted by stephthegeek on April 21, 2010 at 5:00pm

Hey all, I set up a demo site for a session we did at Drupalcon SF and thought it would be handy to make available to everyone to play with. If you want to check out the latest Skinr 2.x with a bunch of skins included, without having to install or code or configure anything, you can sign up for a free WebEnabled account and clone your own copy of the site. The theme will also be up on drupal.org shortly.

    Grab it here: http://www.webenabled.com/application/tnt-fusion

The video we captured is posted and linked off the Session pages.

Titles with "+ Slides + Video" for example on the end will have those resources.

We hope that those that could not attend will enjoy some of the goodness we shared at MIT on June 13 and 14, 2009.

A special thanks to Sheeri Cabral and her assistant Ed Carlevale for their brilliant production work.
