On June 20 - 21, people from all over the Midwest who use, design, develop and support Drupal will convene in downtown St. Louis for the second annual DrupalCamp STL. Meet us in St. Louis and help us forge new skills and friendships while furthering the Drupal project.

DrupalCamp St. Louis 2015 is coming soon (less than a month away!), and we have some great news to share: Alina Mackenzie (alimac) will be this year's keynote speaker, and the keynote's topic will be "Finding the entrance: Why and how to get involved with the Drupal community".

Registration opens soon, but session proposals are already being accepted, with a cutoff of May 29—so propose your session today!

The camp planning is well underway for June 2015, and we're starting to talk training! Seeing as how all of our awesome meetup members will be coming to our camp, we wanted to get some feedback from everyone on what sort of training sessions would be the most interesting/useful to you. Some examples of possible sessions are -

It is with deep regret that we inform you of Eric Brown’s (ericthelast) death. Eric died unexpectedly of a heart attack on Monday, January 6th, 2015. Eric was the cornerstone of the St. Louis user group. He was always the first to offer help to anyone that needed it, and believed strongly in making Drupal accessible to anyone that had interest. Each of us not only grieves at the passing of a tremendous individual but also for the loss his family suffers.

It seems this has been discussed before:

• St. Louis Group needs a new organizer

As one of the frequent attendees of the St. Louis area Drupal meetups, and an organizer of DrupalCamp St. Louis, and finally, as a lifelong resident of St. Louis who isn't really considering moving away or abandoning Drupal any time soon, I would like to propose making myself (geerlingguy) owner of this group.

The 2015 DrupalCamp STL is going to be held on June 20 at the SLU LAW campus in downtown St. Louis, MO. More details on session submissions, sprints, and registration will be coming in early 2015!

I work at WashU and we've been hearing that there's a shortage of qualified Drupal developers/programmers in St. Louis, particularly developers who can take on new projects. Have the rest of you found that to be true?

Slight change of plans...we'll be meeting in the Schnucks Classroom on the first floor (not our normal spot on the second floor).

It's best to come in the park-side doors (and park near the tennis courts as there's an event going on and the lots are full).

As you enter, make a right and instead of going up the steps, keep straight and you'll see the classroom halfway down on the right.

I have a partially complete Drupal site that I can't use yet. I'm about to go back on Elance and post this job again.
