Hello Drupalers,

The Drupal India Association (DIA) is organising an India-wide camp on Saturday, 12 March from 9:30am to 6pm followed by an after-party. The event is going to be Hybrid -- which means that you could gather together at a regional office location of any of the volunteering company in your city OR attend at the convenience of your home, online.
We shall be having lectures followed by a code-sprint across the country. There will be contributor leads who will do a briefing session on how and
where you could start contributing.

Here is how the event schedule looks:

Piyush Poddar (Axelerant) and Chris Skeene (Platform.sh) are co-hosting a Drupal Agency Leaders Dinner at DrupalSouth in Auckland.

You're invited to join peers from other leading agencies to have open discussions on key developments coming out of DrupalSouth. Together, we'll delve into agency challenges, topics on growth and opportunity, and segue into the 2017 Drupal Business Survey results and what these mean for everyone in the Drupal agency community.

We thought of having a meetup. Since we have not done anything lately what do you think? We can have one or 2 speakers and then just catch up network what ever you want to call it. Let us know your thoughts. I guess @mimran will email you the details shortly.

A few weeks back Drupal Association announced the Elections for it’s Director-At-Large position. The At-large Director position is specifically designed to ensure community representation on the Drupal Association board. I strongly feel there should be a representation from Asia. Drupal Asian communities have seen tremendous growth in recent years, be it adopting Drupal by Enterprises, conducting successful Drupal Camps, Organizing Training Days, Conducting Code Sprints or taking initiatives to make Drupal community flourish.
